On the Tip of My Tongue: A Story of Aphasia and Resilience
This is the story of “On the Tip of My Tongue,” a film inspired by Jonathan Hirons’ real-life experience with aphasia. It all began in 2019 during a London meeting. Suddenly, Jonathan couldn’t speak, his thoughts trapped. He couldn’t form sentences, write, or even remember his own phone number.
Diagnosed with aphasia, a condition affecting the language center of the brain, his world was turned upside down. This is a story of resilience, of finding new ways to communicate and connect, even when the familiar pathways are blocked.
Join us as we explore Jonathan’s journey through the challenges and triumphs of aphasia, and discover the power of the human spirit to find its voice, even when it seems lost.
